Senior High School
The SHS program prepares young men for the rigors of college seminary or university life. With a deeper focus on critical thinking, leadership, and active pastoral service, students are guided toward greater spiritual maturity and vocational clarity. It is the crucial final step in equipping them for the lifelong mission of the Church, whether as priests or dedicated laymen.
Junior High School
The JHS program is where a young man’s academic and spiritual journey begins. We combine a rigorous basic education with the daily habits of prayer, virtue, and brotherly community. It is a supportive environment designed to build strong character, intellectual discipline, and the early seeds of vocational discernment.
What is a minor seminary?
A minor seminary is a specialized Catholic educational community designed to nurture adolescent men who show early signs of a priestly vocation, fulfilling the mandate of Canon Law (Can. 234) which states these institutions exist "for the sake of fostering vocations" by providing "special religious formation together with instruction in the humanities and science." As St. John Paul II emphasized in Pastores Dabo Vobis (n. 63), it serves as a supportive environment "focused on discerning and nurturing the beginnings of a vocation" so that a young man develops the interior freedom and maturity to respond generously to God's call.

Here at Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary (OLGMS), we put the formation in for life. We are dedicated to the holistic formation of young men for the mission of the Church.
Our approach is built upon an integration of five core pillars: Human, Spiritual, Academic, Community, and Socio-Pastoral. By forging authentic human character, deepening spiritual intimacy with Christ, challenging our students with academic rigor, binding them in true brotherhood, and igniting a heart for service, we shape the shepherds of tomorrow.
Whether our students ultimately proceed to the priesthood or serve faithfully as laymen, this comprehensive foundation ensures they are deeply prepared to lead.

at OLGMS
Situated in the heart of the Philippines' business capital, the Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary features a sweeping 10-acre campus right in Makati. Sprawling with trees, this lush environment serves as one of the city's rare urban green spaces, offering a peaceful retreat that overlooks the vibrant skyline.
Our grounds are designed to support every aspect of a young man's development, featuring four main buildings dedicated entirely to seminary formation. These are paired with exceptional facilities that balance intense study with active physical health, including modern classrooms, a comprehensive library, a dedicated study hall, and an Audio-Visual Room.
For athletics and wellness, students have access to an open field, five sports courts and a swimming pool.
This unique combination of an urban location and a serene, fully equipped campus gives our students the perfect space to breathe, study, play, and pray as they undergo their formation for life.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary is an educational institution operating under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila and governed by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila and the principles of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. It is a duly recognized school by the Department of Education of the Republic of the Philippines, fully accredited to provide Basic Education.
